Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of emaildone4u.com and the business email setup service provided by Grey Matter Fusion Inc., doing business as EmailDone4U ("we," "us," "our"). By submitting our intake form or using our service, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
We set up business email for you on Google Workspace using a domain you own. This includes connecting your domain to Google, creating your account and email address, configuring settings that help your email send and arrive properly, running a delivery test, and providing a handoff document and 30 days of included support. Service speeds (Standard, Priority, Rush) are estimates that begin once we have everything we need from you, including a domain you own and the access described below. Timing can be affected by factors outside our control, such as delays at your domain provider or Google.
2. What you need to provide
- Accurate information on the intake form.
- A domain you own or are authorized to manage. You are responsible for registering and renewing it. We do not register domains on your behalf.
- Temporary access to your domain's DNS settings through your domain provider's own sharing tools, if we need it. You confirm that you have the authority to grant it.
3. Access and security
We never ask for your passwords. Access you grant is limited and temporary, and we remove it when setup is confirmed and the handoff is complete. You remain the owner of your domain and your Google Workspace account.
4. Fees and payment
- Our setup fee is a flat fee based on the service speed you choose, as shown on our website when you submit your request.
- We do not charge you before the work is done. We send an invoice after your email is working and you have received your handoff. Invoices are payable by the due date shown on the invoice, through Stripe.
- If an invoice goes unpaid after the due date and reasonable notice, we may remove the DNS records and configuration we added.
- Google Workspace is a separate subscription (currently about $7 per user per month) that Google bills to you directly under Google's terms. It is not part of our fee.
- Additional mailboxes, extra projects, or work outside the described scope will be quoted before we begin.
5. Our turnaround promise
Each service speed has a target time, in Eastern Time (ET): Standard by 5:00 PM ET on the 2nd business day, Priority by 5:00 PM ET on the next business day, and Rush by 10:00 PM ET the same business day. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays. The clock starts when we have everything we need to begin: your submitted request and working access to your domain’s DNS settings. If we have both on a weekend or holiday, or after 5:00 PM ET, the clock starts at 9:00 AM ET on the next business day. For Rush, we need both by 2:00 PM ET; after that, the clock starts at 9:00 AM ET on the next business day. The clock pauses while we are waiting on you or on a third party outside our control, for example while you approve access or answer a question, or during a domain lock or verification hold at your domain provider or Google. Any date or time we show before the clock starts, on our website or in an email, is an estimate that assumes prompt approval of access; your deadline is set when the clock actually starts. “Done” means your email is set up and ready to send and receive; changes can take additional time (typically minutes to a few hours) to spread across the internet.
If we miss the target for a reason within our control, you pay the next tier down: Rush is invoiced at the Priority price ($200), Priority at the Standard price ($150), and Standard is reduced by $50 ($100). We apply this to your invoice automatically; you do not need to ask. This adjustment is your sole remedy for late delivery.
6. Cancellations
You may cancel at any time before we begin work and owe nothing. If you cancel after work has begun, we may invoice for the work already completed.
7. Support
For 30 days after handoff, we will answer questions about your new email, help with setup on additional devices, and make minor configuration adjustments. Support does not include additional projects, such as website changes or migrating large amounts of existing mail, which we can quote separately.
8. Third-party services
Your email runs on Google Workspace, and Google's terms and policies apply to it. We are an independent service provider and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC. Email delivery also depends on recipients' own filtering, which we cannot control, so we cannot guarantee that every message reaches every inbox.
9. Your data
You are responsible for your own data and backups. Please read our Privacy Policy to see how we handle information.
10. Disclaimers and limits of liability
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill, but to the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" without other warranties. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, such as lost profits or lost business. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
12. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect when you submit your request applies to that order.
